Located in the south east region of Cyprus, Paralimni is set slightly inland and provides a homely environment thanks in part to local shops such as the ever popular Marks and Spencer. Whilst Paralimni’s original architecture is less than pleasing to the eye, recent development has improved upon this providing some fantastic Cyprus villas and apartments of varying sizes and suitable for many families and travelling parties. The surrounding area is dotted with windmills, which in days gone by provided invaluable water supplies. Paralimni’s local square is where visitors can find a number of quiet cafes and bars, which are at a total contrast to those found in neighbouring resorts such as Protaras and Ayia Napa, both of which can be easily reached thanks to some great public transport links.
