Located on the islands northern coastline, Lara Beach sits in a small bay to the right of which is a large rock formation complete with many interesting rock formations and more importantly pools. These are great for exploring and will keep the children occupied for hours, as they search for their treasure. There is a beach bar which serves food, however to reduce the cost it is always advisable to take plenty of drinking water. Due to its location, there is very limited shade in the summer months, so perhaps an early visit is best before cooling off elsewhere later in the day as the temperature increases.
