Access is the issue at Laura Beach in Paphos. The rough terrain is only suitable for 4X4 vehicles, the only other access being via a footpath which starts the road leading to Agios Georgios (around 5km from the beach). Those who make the journey will be rewarded with a beach which is one of the few remaining nesting sites for the rare sea turtles. Swimming in the waters around the beach is forbidden during nesting season, and there are few facilities with sunbeds and parasols also being forbidden from use.
