The very popular Coral Bay Beach, in Paphos, is set out on a large crescent of fine sand which slopes gently into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. The headland at each end of the beach ensure that the waters are calm and safe for young children. Visitors need to arrive early in peak season to avoid disappointment at being unable to secure a sun bed and parasol. The local bars, and restaurants around the beach provide much needed respite from the midday sun.
